Funded by the US Department of Energy (DOE), Berkeley Lab (LBNL) hired ProspectSV to engage partners and industry leaders to apply packaged low-cost energy efficiency upgrades known as ISPs. Under a three-year engagement, we assisted initially with pilot site searches, and then later a national industry outreach campaign to market the purpose and value of ISPs to the Buildings Industry, partnering with professional networks such as ULI, AIA, ASHRAE, and IFMA. These networks shared ISP-related information via newsletters, social media, and print. Additionally, partners highlighted the ISP message in national webinars and member meetings featuring the project team.

In a parallel effort, we partnered with The City of Cupertino to design a local outreach and Roundtable program focused on exploring City roles in promoting new pathways to achieving Climate Action Plan objectives. We captured feedback from a diversity of local organizations and partners, and highlighted opportunities for the City to leverage local industry networks, financing activity, and permitting processes to create momentum between its sustainability programs and local business.
